The dates for club nights are on the calendar below.
All bookings are done in person during a club night.
At each club night, we usually offer a workshop that can be booked in advance or on the night if places remain. The prices quoted are for existing members. Non-members are very welcome to join the club and can then book workshops.
There is access to other art and craft materials or you can bring your own project. There is an extensive library of art and craft books too.

Needle Punch with Rachel
Punch needle is a fun type of embroidery that uses a hollow needle with yarn threaded through it. It's really fast and you can make flat or loopy stitches, depending on which side of the fabric you punch from! Join us to learn the basics of punch needle and make your own design in an embroidery hoop to hang on your wall.

Wet Felted Soap with Shirley
Felted soap makes a pretty gift that will last much longer than an uncovered bar of soap and the wool covering
is exfoliating and has antibacterial qualities. Fabric will be provided if you wish to make bags for your soaps.
Please bring a hand towel as this is a wet activity. If we have a warm evening, we may be able to do this in the
Hillside Hall garden! Please arrive by 6.15pm for a 6.30pm start. 10 places. Cost £3 to make 2 soaps.

–Bargello Workshop with Rachel
Bargello is a type of needlepoint embroidery involving long stitches and bright colours. Tonight, you will create
a sleeve to fit around a recycled can. Use as a vase or pot up with a plant for yourself or even a Christmas
present. Please arrive by 6.15pm for a 6.30pm start. 10 places. Cost £3.

Aperture Christmas Cards Muddle
This evening you can continue with your iris-folded cards and printed wrapping paper and gift tags.
Alternatively, discover new ways to use aperture cards. You could create glass windows on acetate. Other
ideas could involve postage stamps and inkiness. Drop in anytime from 6 pm. No limit on numbers. FREE
activities but DONATIONS appreciated.

Christmas Tree Decorations Muddle
Join us for the last meeting of the year to make tree decorations using beads, paper, fabric and buttons. Light
refreshments will be provided. We also plan to have a big raffle so if you have any unwanted quality items,
please bring them along on the night. We do hope that you can join us. Drop in anytime from 6 pm. No limit
on numbers. Most of the activities will be FREE to members.

Lino Cutting Workshop and Paper Printing Muddle
Tonight, you will be shown how to create a linocut. You will then have the opportunity to use your linocut to
print cards, wrapping paper and gift tags. As an alternative, but still following the printing theme, you can use
the club’s wide range of polymer and rubber stamps and the provided card and paper to ink away to your

Resin Flowers (Inion Arts) Workshop with MJ
This evening you will have the opportunity to make a fragile-looking flower from wire and translucent resin.
These beautiful flowers are deceptively robust and benefit from being in the light so the colours look like

Iris Folded Christmas Cards and Printed Wrapping Paper Muddle
Christmas is fast approaching…… have you started making your very own Christmas cards yet? If not, join us
to learn the technique of iris folding. You will come away with some lovely cards to send to family and friends.
There will also be the opportunity to stamp your own wrapping paper and matching gift tags ready for the
